Who is your favorite villain in the Jak games?
A) Errol (And yes, I know this isn't the way you spell his name in Jak 2, but who cares? I LIKE IT!)
And B) Gol Acheron
What's something about them that you find creepy/scary/typicalvillainthing here?
A) The fact that Errol decieved everyone (Except Jak and the rest of the Underground, of course) into thinking that he was harmless (When, in fact, he's WASN'T!).
B) That he has HEALTH PROBLEMS. I mean, shouldn't villains be fit and well, especially since all they do is think of plans of world destruction and and send their henchmen to fight the hero, while they just sit back and watch? Then again, since all his lackeys are Lurkers, they must not have brains...So they're pretty much useless. XD
What's something you find hilarious?
A) He's a robot in Jak 3. Come on! How lame is THAT?!(He is one heck of a boss, though!)
B) He's the villain, and he actually looks SCARY! All the others just look pretty or handsome (Not to mention HUMAN!) but him? Not one bit. Kind of sad, really.
Are they a successful villain in your eyes?
A) In Jak 2? HECK YES. His plans were dethroning Baron Praxis and making everyone's life miserable, mostly Jak's. And he accomplished both! Yay for him! (Claps and gets punched in the face)
B) Yes, in a way. Gol's motives weren't exactly drowning the world in Dark Eco, like everyone thinks he had in mind, but rather, showing the world that the essence could be controlled and harnessed. AND IT COULD! I mean, look at Spargus city, with its vents, and Haven, and the Dark Warrior Program. None of this could have been achieved without the Dark Sage's decision to research the evil substance, much less his notes and experiments on them. So I think the Acheron sibling can rest in peace knowing his lifetime's work wasn't studied in vain (That is, if he's dead...).
Are they evil? Why or why not?
A) Not necessarily. Errol does have a heart inside his body, it's just...misused and misunderstood. I think that, while his childhood was good, raised by kind, loving parents, as he became older and was able to be drafted into the KG, people sort of looked down on him for his kind personality, and decided to "fix" it. So he was taught to keep his opinions, thoughts, and what he cared about locked away. Although he forgot them later, the longing for compassion never faded in him, so he used other, crueler methods on the prisoners to fill the missed feeling, especially on those he thought to be a challenge (Jak). There's a lot more I can say about him on this topic, but I choose not to.
B) Again, no. To me, Gol is just trying to prove that Dark Eco can be controlled. And he'll do anything to do so, including some that will make you question his sanity. Which, by the way, is somewhat intact. It's just the Dark Eco that makes his mind so screwed up.
Who do you think they hurt the most with their not-so-nice actions?
A) To be honest? KEIRA. I mean, she just came out of a Rift Gate, which took her thousands of years into the future, and she's lost, lonely, and confused as hell. And she just happens to run into Erol, who takes pity on her and gives her a place to stay, not to mention a job. And she, taking this as an act of kindness and unaware that he was a sadistic monster underneath, falls in love with him. He, in turn, cares for her, finds out who she's with, and tortures him beyond recognition. And when Jak escapes, he tells her that the blonde is the true demon that's loose in the streets, and she, putting all her faith in him, believes what he says. So it's all Erol's fault that Keira and Jak's relationship is so messed up in Jak 2.
B) Believe it or not, I think Gol hurt the Sages most in TPL. They thought he had a lot of potential to become the next hero who could fufill the destiny laid out for him, and he just...let them down by going insane. Technically, it's not his fault. All he did was have an interest in Dark Eco, the deadliest substance on the planet! But that was all it took to ruin the rest of his life.
Did they ever did any good?
A) Yeah, he did some good, like care for Keira and look out for his troops, as well as gain the trust of the ruler of Haven City by doing some noble acts in the battlefield. How else would he have become Commander, and the Baron's right-hand man?
B) Yes, while training to be a Sage, he did, along with providing useful notes that helped lead to Eco vents in Spargus and the DWP in Haven.
What do you think Jak thinks about them?
A) In truth? That the Commander is one crazy, twisted fruit loop that shouldn't be allowed to live.
B) If he were possibly alive and well (Not to mention free, and out of the Silo) I think that Jakkie-Boy would have probably thought of him as a role model and mentor. Sure, the Precursors gave him Light Eco to control the Darkness within him, but as far as I know, he'll never fully be able to turn into Darkie out of pure will. He needs someone to teach him how to sustain his darker form, and when he's normal, not fall apart out of exhaustion. Gol, I believe, has that control, though limited. But he's trapped in the Silo now, and there's nothing we can do about it.
Random stuff:
I honestly think that Errol was teaching Jak how to live in Haven properly, besides torturing him, that is. I don't think he wanted the blonde to turn out like Keira, all pitiful and whiny. The Commander actually wanted him to fight, to take out the Baron. Jak WAS used as a weapon, after all, so why not make him to act like one? So Jak came out all rough and bitter, and it was all because of the Commander, not the torture or the DE injections.
...What he didn't expect was for Blondie to turn around and kill him too. Shame.

Sorry for my english
KoneCON 2 - Szczecin, 3-5 lipca xD
How are you and Bijoux doing? You haven't updated any of your stories lately (last I saw was chapter 35 of Palace Stories. It was awesome!). I hope both of you are alright.
I usually lose interest in J&D too, but my OCs keep me writing. Haven't written anything in ages though...I've got a few chapters that can be put up, but I keep forgetting
We're both doing alright
--
When in doubt, mumble...
I'm glad that you're still interested in J&D! You write such great stories for that category (not that your other stories aren't good...I simply haven't read them yet!). I hope Bijoux thinks about writing that DBZ-Crossover for Palace Stories, it's sounds really interesting...
I'm glad you two are doing fine. And thanks for the hug! (Hugs you back) (Grins)
Aww, thankyou ^^ I really want to write more, but I've forgotten an awful lot about my previous fic and the current one

When in doubt, mumble...
Yeah, seventy-five chapters can be quite a lot to go through and edit...I feel sorry for you because of that...
Oh, and have you heard of the new J&D game? I hope to get it when it comes out.
